Working in film & advertising not always a relationship-friendly life.
It takes a special kind of individual to spend endless nights in production offices, tirelessly work through rehearsal sessions or stretch Your boundaries on workout sessions, try not to trip over cables in dark studios and not get stuck in mud with 2 ton cranes.
Long hours and constant time pressure would easily get to anyone, but on top of it all, our job is the delicate mission of making the audience FEEL. For that audio-visual alchemy to happen, we the Creators need to be able to connect to our feelings on a deeply authentic level.
In my experience, when there was palpable tension in the office, on set or in the post house, it always always always reflected in the end product. You could see it's fake. It fell flat. Hitting the wrong tone. Whether it was 120 minutes or 30 seconds, it was painful to watch, because it was painful to create.
I realised that if we want to create true works of art that make the audience care, first we have to care about the Creators.

How about Your emotions? Are You feeling seen, heard, appreciated or frustrated, unfulfilled, and used? Do You try to ignore Your feelings or neglect/abuse Yourself for having emotions at all? Are You shaming Yourself or blaming others for feeling sad, angry or shy?
Those are signs of a very unkind relationship between Your mind and body.
As human beings, we have a narrative-based relationship with ourselves. The way Your MiND talks to You about You is pretty much the same as a Writer constantly churning out scripts for Your BODY to Act out, and [if You allow it] Your HEART chimes in to give You Directions about Your next move.
Once we have a clear view of the scripts You've been playing out and any self-sabotaging roles You might have been stuck in, we can start creating a healthy flow of communication between Your Director / Writer / Actor.

Our brainwaves are produced by synchronised electrical pulses from masses of neurons communicating with each other.
Much like an orchestra with a different solo instrument each time -- all of our brain waves are present at all times, while one wave becomes the strongest, predominant rhythm.
The waves' oscillation or frequency is measured by cycles per second [Hertz or Hz]. Like a symphony, higher and lower frequencies link to form harmonies and cycles within the cycles.
A few key core beliefs that You just happened to pick up, like "boys don't cry" or "girls just wanna have fun"can lodge themselves deep into Your system, wreaking havoc in Your relationships for long-long years without You even noticing the connection.
